Sandalyn is a family owned and operated boutique winery in the Lovedale area of the Hunter Valley.  Sandra and Lindsay Whaling (Sand..A..Lyn..get it?) established the estate in 1988 and have gained a great reputation for their handcrafted wines.  We really love their Verdelho which is very popular in Australia.  It is a superb example of how delicious and expressive this fashionable speciality of the Hunter Valley can be, if it receives as much care and attention as this one does.  Their Shiraz displays all the benchmark flavours that can only mean Hunter Valley at its best.
